Lukasz led a friend and I on a custom tour of Warsaw, with a focus on the Praga District. To start, he asked us about what we were interested to... read more see that day, and worked the day around that. We covered lots of ground! Highlights included seeing some sites where “The Pianist” was filmed, walking around and lunch in the Praga district, and storied details around Lazienki park. We also stopped for yummy local snacks and beverages, and we ended back at our city apartment. It was a full, fascinating, and beautiful day with Lukasz.

Łukasz is an excellent guide! He is easygoing, flexible and above all: he knows his stuff. Łukasz points out different objects, he tells short stories rather than summarising dull... read more facts and he shows hidden gems that you would otherwise pass by. Also, Praga is a district worth visiting, very nice vibe. Definitely recommend!

I recently took the Warsaw Ghetto Remains Tour with Lukasz and it was an absolute pleasure. Lukasz was a very engaging guide who made easy conversation and showed this part... read more of Warsaw’s history in a way that made it very real.

It covers multiple spots where you will have a chance to see WWII remains mix with the new Warsaw. Lukasz was happy to answer all questions and shared such a vast knowledge of the people, places and events of this time period. After the tour was over, I was hoping it would go on for longer! Thank you so much Lukasz!

I got a private tour due to the fact that Warsaw isn't this popular with tourists this time of the year. Lukasz is a very engaging and knowledgable tour guide... read more and it was nice to learn more about Warsaw and Poland from him. Can definitely recommend this tour.

I love old cemeteries, mostly for their amazing at I love old cemeteries, mostly for their amazing atmosphere, but they also reflect local history and architecture trends of different times. Here is one of the most unique graves in Warsaw - the Braeunig Family mausoleum at the Evangelical-Augsburg Cemetery. It was built in 1821 in Neo-Gothic style, and this year it turns 200! It's probably the first cast iron monument in Warsaw. The first pic shows the entrance to the underground crypt. On the top there is an iron lacework chapel which you can actually enter. Next time I must visit it after dark. I wish the crypt would be open too☠🕷️⚰

The Temple of the Sybil, a garden pavilion from 18 The Temple of the Sybil, a garden pavilion from 1822, designed by Jakub Kubicki. It stands in the 19th century Romantic Garden in the Łazienki Park. It's inspired by ancient temples, especially the Temple of Garni in Armenia. What's interesting about it is that it's entirely made of wood, including columns.

The oldest sundial of the Royal Łazienki. It's su The oldest sundial of the Royal Łazienki. It's supported by a sculpture of a Satyr, a male horse or goat-human hybrid from Greek and Roman mythology. They were lovers of wine, music, dancing, and women, always ready for every physical pleasure, with a permanent, exaggerated erection. I think it's a softer version here :-)
The sculpture by Johann Chrysostomus Redler or Andre le Brun, ca. 1777.
