Visit Kazimierz Dolny, a town which is considered one of the most beautiful towns in Poland, a pearl of the Polish Renaissance. It’s listed as one of Poland’s official national Historic Monuments. Located by the Vistula river and exquisitely preserved in its Renaissance urban plan and appearance. Polish King Casimir the Great chartered the town in the 14th century. Here you can find great examples of historical and Renaissance architecture including churches, monastery, town houses, ruins of the medieval castle and the Jewish quarter with surviving synagogue from the 18th Century. Present day Kazimierz Dolny is a well know artist colony popular among painters. Here you will find many art galleries with sculptures, stained-glass, folk art and fine art. It’s also an area with amazing natural sites including the famous “Tree Roots Gorge” which could easily have been a film location for Lords of the Ring or Hobbit films.
I offer you a comfortable trip by car with me as your guide. This includes pick you up at your place of stay and return.
